I figured that some comic relief might keep my “Blogging Through the Alphabet” interesting, especially when combined with words that could help increase our vocabulary.
The letter B was a lot of fun. This poor girl is obviously Beblubbered – she is “disfigured by weeping or covered in tears.” Her sobbing was so severe that she’s nearly drowning in a vortex of her tears!
There are so many great words that begin with B, but beblubbered is so fun to say. Plus I wanted to attempt ‘tears’ for the first time.
Honestly, it’s a better word choice than bathysiderodromophobia – which is “an uncommon fear of subways and the underground.” That would make for a really interesting image, but pronouncing it is another story. I mean… seriously… who came up with that name??
Since I was in the mood to get carried away with the Bs, I also wanted to mention that this woman might be so beblubbered because she found out that her husband is a bedswerver (someone who is unfaithful to their spouse).
I know, I know… it’s sad. But she’ll get over it, trust me.
Now… I actually may understand where the word bedswerver came from. It seems a bit like a “couch surfer,” but different, and much more devious.
On another note, I’m going to try mixing it up. For some of these posts I want to buckle down and do an elaborate image (or at least try). For others, like this one, it’s just fun with words and a silly illustration.
Then I might try very short stories for certain words… if they literally inspire me to do so. It’s a hodgepodge, so you never know what you’ll get… and I’ll never get bored or run out of ideas. Hopefully.
That’s about all for now. Thank you for reading/viewing… I hope you enjoyed the Buffoonery! – “behavior that is ridiculous but amusing.”
Until next time,
Peace & love!
