Rockabilly

I thought I’d entertain myself (and you, hopefully!) with a little song & dance while I’m on my time-out. This illustration was super fun to make, and it all started with a photograph that I found of Elvis (note the hair and the dance move).

I was in no mood for faces or body details, and then I decided that I like the characters better without them. It creates a more figurative illustration.

Like maybe the piano player is imagining the keyboard coming to life as he (or she) plays. Which brings up the thought that it might be interesting to add a large hand or finger on one of the keys. I definitely might revamp this one later.

That’s all I can think of for now. I’m getting ready to relax and watch some bedtime TV, which reminds me… I just finished binge watching After Life (Ricky Gervais) the other day. SO GOOD! I’m sad that it’s over!

Anyway, I’ll be thinking about a new story for the next couple of days… and I’m looking forward to being back with it soon! Thanks for reading/viewing – I hope you enjoyed!

Until then,
Peace & Love!
