It’s Party Time

I want to say that these two women are having a ball… but I’m beginning to wonder if this is a “mother and daughter” scene. It almost seems as though the girl who is having fun is trying to ignore her mother who is telling her to “act like a lady.”

But, that’s not the idea. I wanted to try another limited color vintage type illustration and I’m officially done with this one. I added the gold circle after the fact to add a little “sun” element.

So, I was having a lot of fun with this and then got distracted with my ‘other’ responsibilities, and today I decided it was done enough. I am ready to move on.

I’m beginning to see why I have no real interest in a relationship at this time… I get bored of things way too easy. Haha!
