Midnight Rendezvous

Under the cloak of midnight, secrets are born and whispers travel unseen.

I’m catching on to my own little schemes. Apparently, all I need to do is talk about finding purpose and confronting the old Imposter Syndrome… and then suddenly a gazillion images are calling me for revamps. Wow. That just reminded me of my old dating years. Feast or famine!

And how appropriate, given the theme of tonight’s upcycle. This was a combination of two illustrations from the past. The bus came out of an illustration for one of my short stories (HERE). If you click on the link and actually look, you’ll see that the difference is like night and day. Literally!

Anyway, the tango dancers arrived on the scene at the eleventh hour… saving the day (or night) and totally changing the mood. I like it!

I was going to share more, about some thoughts I had while working on this, but it’s late and I’ve tried but I just keep hitting delete. I’m going to enjoy some post-midnight time to myself instead.

We can resume the journey another day.

Until then,
Sweet Dreams
(or Good Morning to those on the other side of the world)

“I love the silent hour of night, for blissful dreams may then arise. Revealing to my charmed sight, what may not bless my waking eyes.” -Anne Brontë

    Great drawing.

I’ve titled it Gatsby and Daisy Decide To Do It On A Public Transit Bus.

Thanks Christopher! You’re in rare form these days! Are you ready to write again??

I think I’ll be able to start writing again full time in another 2 to 3 weeks.

I have written a poem, 3 vampire novel chapters and a movie review in the month I’ve been off blogging. I’ve written them by hand and by pen in an old scribbler paper notebook I have.

I’ve also been creating dozens and dozens of AI art generated images because I’ve discovered I need some sort of creative outlet.

I just didn’t have the mindset to do any serious writing after 7 continuous months of harassment by Social Services.

Gotcha. Well it’s good you’re still doing stuff and personally I think by hand is very therapeutic. I might try that!

It’s a good thing to do once in a while.

Create by hand with pen or pencil instead of touchscreen on a computer.

I wondered if anyone would notice that… haha! Does it spoil to mystery if I tell you it’s in Tennessee and the first few letters ran off the page? 😎😂
