The Celebration

I had no intention of using those Kool & the Gang lyrics until the very end, but I think those lyrics are so perfect that I just can’t go wrong.

I have little to nothing to report, but I finished my large assignment and it seemed like a celebration was in order. I wanted a lot of color and movement… and that’s the story.

The round object in the background started out as the moon, but the way the woman in front of it got distorted, it looks as though she is holding onto it. Which actually goes well with the celebration… she is not only reaching for the moon, she has actually grasped it! I’d say that’s cause for celebration alright.

Anyway, that’s all for now. Like I said, I finished my paper and I’m so happy I could just scream. Happy Sunday to you (or Monday for those of you who are way ahead of the game).
