Natural Healing

A Haiku

Deep crimson sunset,

Fiery sky restores the soul,

And woes turn to ash.

We have a mishmash of things today. My image is actually Carla, one of the characters in my ongoing saga… The Man Upstairs.

I worked on her today but then had writer’s block for her segment, so I decided to have her accompany my haiku. At least we know what she looks like now. And I love the color of the sky.

I had to laugh a little about the thought of a ‘healing fiery sky’ due to the ongoing heat wave (which is mainly humidity now). But when I think of the gorgeous sunsets that I used to see in Arizona and Colorado, I remember their power.

Anyway, that’s all for tonight. Thanks for stopping by… I hope you enjoyed! I’ll be back on the story this week sometime.

Until then,
Peace & love.

  1. Really like your drawing style. The ground is solid black but the stylized red sky is textured… as is the guitar. Really works.

Hope the apartment character stories can continue

    1. No, it’s been very mild as we near the fall. We could still see some high temps but I don’t think it’ll be anywhere near as hot as it was…. brutal summer for most of the globe.
