It’s My Party

Life is like a balloon. If you never let yourself go, you’ll never know how far you can rise.

I’m featuring a new portrait today, inspired by Ragtag’s Word of the Day: Party. My great niece looks a little shy back there, hiding behind all of those balloons, but don’t let her appearance fool you. She’s a bundle of energy and excitement, a constant source of entertainment, and she never tires… kind of like a traveling party! Anyway…

It’s a little after noon right now and the thermometer just hit 102 degrees. All I can say is… I’m melting………

  2. Hi Janet–I LOVE this photo! And I’m so sorry you’re “melting”–I just spent 2 days suffering intense heat illness…no a/c and my small apartment/2nd floor was nearly 100 degrees–scary. Anyhoo, I’ve sent you an invite to the now Private blog, so you can have access to read/comment, as you like 🙂 Blessings to you–praying for a cool-down!! ❤

    4. YES, I do know Mandisa–powerful singer!! We truly are Overcomers, by the grace of God and His Holy Spirit–in my own strength, not even close! So did you accept the invite, or do I need to resend again? 🙂

    8. I think it should arrive soon…but if this doesn’t work, you can just do the “request permission” from the sign in page which shows up when you try to go to private blogs. A number of peeps have found this easier–but I think since using your email just now should work for us 🙂
