Restless travelers,
Summer winds whistle and whip,
Westward journey ends.

I may be going a little crazy with the ocean scenes and birds lately, but the gulls in this image were screaming the word “whip” to me. Can you here them?
Anyway, we’re in the middle of a heat wave here, so anything that resembles “a breeze,” or “a cooler location than where I’m standing right now” looks like paradise to me. The haiku is for the Ronovan Writes Haiku Challenge: Trip & Whip, and I have to say that I truly appreciate the prompts that he (and others) put out there all of the time. They give me something to look forward to!
That’s about all for now. I hope to be back later with some new thoughts…
Until then,
Peace & Love!

The west sun slips, and
the ship’s trip to take sea dips
while lips rip like whips.

I really pick up on the movement and motion in this photo. Love it…just like I would love a cool sea breeze these days! 💕
