Perfect Date

Steakhouse rendezvous,

Moonlit kisses for dessert,

Icing on the cake.

This is a bit foreign to me since dating is NOT in my vocabulary at the moment, but what the heck. Now that I think about it, I don’t know if anyone is really thinking about dating right now.

I do think, however, that this Haiku is a nice distraction.

A reminder of simpler times and special moments.

    1. Yeah no kidding. It didn’t even dawn on me until writing that… that single people who are “eager” to date might find this whole social distancing thing especially hard to deal with. And yes… I think now and then about how nice it would be to date- especially an innocent, nice wholesome date- if that makes any sense. I spent too much time in the bar scene so I’m scarred. 😉

    2. I haven’t ventured into online dating. Okay, I’ve taken a peak, but never ventured into it. Few horror stories from friends 😳. I suppose dateables are probably talking and texting from a distance.

    3. Oh I didn’t think of that but you’re probably right. And NO, no online dating for me either. I tried Match once for free and strange creatures found me there. All from overseas (or so they said). I imagine they were though because you could read the accents in their words. Very weird place, kind of haunting. 😉
