Garden Party

I visited our backyard this morning to see how the garden is growing. I may get my Garden Art series going again. My son has gone “vegetable crazy,” so we have lots of fun and interesting (and edible!) plants out there.

This is the broccoli aisle… and the bees just love this area!

I thought this would be a good submission for Brashley Photography’s Photo for the Week – 55 – Insects.

The flower doesn’t dream of the bee, it blossoms and the bee comes.

I wish more folks would go after veggies, take the money out of those nasty fast food dumps. Lovely photo! I’ll plant some flowers in my little backyard pots when it warms up a bit more, great photography subjects. ☺️

Miss my old garden with broccoli gone to flower (happy bees) while the snow is gently falling down here in northeast OH. . .

  I’m actually not a big broccoli fan but I do like it with cheese! I love asparagus so I hope he grows that soon too 😄

  Cheese goes on/in just about everything I cook 🙂 I love asparagus too–and it would be wonderful to grow it, instead of paying the high cost in the grocery store.
