Clouds on clouds, in volumes driven,
Curtain round the vault of heaven.

I stayed up late to work on this “Birds in violet sky.” Or maybe I should call it “What the Birds Saw.” π
Creating it in Illustrator was an accident. I opened up the wrong program and then decided I’d just go for it (see what happens when I stay up too late!). I may do another version in Photoshop, who knows?
The birds were from the beach last week. I used image trace to give the photograph a silhouette appearance and then began to color the the sky. If my eyes aren’t deceiving me, I think they’re pelicans.
Speaking of Illustrator… some changes were made in my upcoming schedule and I’m taking a beginning drawing class. I guess it’s time to address this fear I have; of pens and pencils. Ha! Gotta love the digital age. Anyway, the countdown is finally on. Two more weeks and it’s back to school!
Time to call it a night. Peace & love everyone…
Learning to draw is fun. It really is. You’ll soon come to love those pens and pencils. π

Nicely done! And I love the quote. I salute you for taking up pens and pencils…I wish I could do “art”, but I’ll stick to words π

I addressed my fear of drawing, and became more terrified
but, we did come to some resolution….

Haha! I get it. I just hate the fact that I say I can’t draw without ever giving it any real effort. I have to at least try. But yes my heart flutters when I think about taking this class lol

Janet, thank you for sharing the image. I am not much of a visual artist with sketching and painting. Best wishes with school.
