Sneakers: Family Portrait

It’s been REALLY hot this week. I’ve been spending my time inside, trying to stay cool—and thinking of ways to be creative.

I went through my archives, looking for ways to use old images in new ways. I stumbled on an old family photograph, and I couldn’t help but notice that the whole clan was wearing sneakers.

I cropped in to get a close-up, so a few family members are missing here, but I thought it was an interesting angle, and a good match for Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Shoes. The photo was semi-poor quality, so it seemed appropriate to give it an old snapshot feel

I don’t know. Maybe I’m just grasping at shoelaces. 🙂

Peace & Love!!

A lie can travel around the world in stilettos, while the truth is still putting on its sneakers.

Using the cropping tool is an effective device. You used it quite well to bring attention to the shoes.

The crop of the photograph with the sneakers looks super artsy. I actually like it a lot!
