Kindness lights the fire
Winds of change begin to blow
Compassion ripples
The featured image is another one of my experiments in portraiture. I’ve been looking for ways to use partial faces, to make the portraits more abstract. My goal was to give it an urban feel, kind of like a piece of street art. The subject is my grandson.
The phase I’m going through at the moment is thinking of ways to visually communicate—incorporating my art with some kind of “statement.” I don’t think I made it there (yet) with this portrait, but it was my inspiration for the Haiku, so it all worked out.
My statement: Start a Ripple!
That’s about all for now. Peace & Love to you all!
