Like a mother’s love

My son went surfing this morning, so I tagged along with my camera. Hey, what can I say? I’m a mom!

Anyway, I took a few photos and then my battery ran out (and I packed the wrong charger). Go figure. I saw this woman and child—shortly after I ran out of juice—so I scrambled for my cellphone to get the shot. It was just too precious to pass up. And it was the inspiration for today’s Haiku.
