The Storm

Angry storm rages,

Love battered, Hearts holding on,

Refusing to bend.

I’m taking a break from my emotion images, although my haiku and photo art appear to hint at some of the emotions I’ve been seeing in my neck of the woods lately… thanks to the “Rona” and all of the crap that goes with it. Anyway…

The emotional aspect of this post wasn’t planned. I took a photo of our Ginkgo when the leaves were green and yellow and I’ve been wanting to do something artistic with it. I love the colors of the leaves (although now the tree is bare and the leaves are on the lawn), but I also enjoy seeing them in black and white… with an oil paint effect and a little play on the perspective. As you can see, the end result looks a little angry, but maybe that depends on the viewer’s state of mind.

So… I’ve been thinking a lot about the blog and I’ve got a ton of new ideas for it. I’m really looking forward to organizing my thoughts and getting started. I’m back to school this week (virtually), but it’s just one class so I’m going to take advantage of the extra time on my hands. I’m tired of hearing people argue about the you know what virus, so I’ve decided to channel my frustration into some really cool and creative projects, both on the blog and off. I think 2022 will be a good one, and I hope it is for you as well.

That’s about all for now. Thank you for reading!
