Just Brewed Happiness in a Cup!
As much as I’ve enjoyed this Blogging through the Alphabet series, I’m super excited to be on the letter Z.
There were a few images that I started (and then scrapped) today, and I started to realize that I needed a break from illustrating.
So…… I caved and used the AI feature in Adobe Illustrator to create the three zebras having coffee. I added the sign, and the effects, to make it (semi) my own. That being said, I take 2% of the credit.
I think another part of my ’emotional lack’ could be from forcing myself to do images when I’m really not even in the mood. I’m going to go with my gut in the future and do what feels natural – rather than forced. That might help.
Anyway, I chose Zebra as my Z (and final) word because I read some fun facts and came to appreciate them even more than I already did.
Did you know that Zebras experience emotions like fear, joy, and stress? They also form lasting relationships. Zebras live in groups and look after the others in their group, offering support and protection… especially when it comes to predators.
They sound like humans in a way, and I started imagining them gathering together to do what people often do….. share a meal or a beverage.
My first inclination was a bar – with party hats and cocktails, but then it dawned on me that I should probably keep my sober blog sober.
Anyway… this fun fact thing kind of inspired me for my next series… something like ‘micro-fun-facts’ and images (and possibly stories?) to compliment the facts. I’m going to sleep on that idea.
