The Fish, The Feline…

and the Juggling Fool.

-Multiple Choice Day-

I’ve been too indecisive lately, so I decided to leave the choices up to the reader.

Below is the unedited version, straight out of my Illustrator program. The featured image is the same, but with blur and paint effects added. For a person that enjoys Illustrator, you’d think I would like the sharp images it creates, but I actually like softening them up.

Anyway, I was really into it at first but then I got a little bored and had some ideas for my next letters, so I thought I’d just share it and see which one you like better. In any event, it’s the letter F, and I loved what I was going for…

I started to write a story, but I came up with one liners for each character instead (another multiple choice thing, I suppose).

The Feline: “Can I take this hat off now?” Looking irritated. “I feel ridiculous.“

Fish #1: “Oh my God!” as he gasps! “He’s too close to the edge!“

Fish #2: “Ummm, sir… sir…” as she tugs at the Fool’s skirt tail, “can you watch your step please.“

The Fool: “Quiet you nincompoops! I’m trying to concentrate.“

I suppose there’s a fun story in there, but the ending seemed so obvious.

“Who’s the nincompoop now??” Is what I imagine the Fish and the Feline would say after the Fool crashes down.

Anyway, here’s the Illustrator Version (if it’s not obvious, I was kind of going for a mixture of cartoon and stained glass).

So, the choice is yours.
