I’m sensing a pattern here. I seem to favor these vibrant colors when I’m feeling “creatively challenged.” I start behaving like the girl who just got a new box of crayons, or—even better—finger paints. It seems to do the trick, because as long as I end up with something bright and colorful, I’m happy.
I think the quote I found for it is perfect. I added some distortion to the unsuspecting fuchsia, and I think it looks like it’s dancing. And sometimes we do dance with our hearts. Others might not see us slide and spin, or pirouette and plié, but we’re doing it… on the inside.
It’s our own little happy dance.
