This is one of my favorite ‘wave photographs’ from the recent batch. I think it’s a great fit for Fandango’s One-Word Challenge: Movement.
It’s funny about the quote (above). I remind myself constantly to be present, to be grateful, and to be satisfied. After going through my latest images, one of my first thoughts was that I need a new lens, with more zoom. I guess the truth of the matter is that I just need to get a little closer. Ha!
I started posting on Instagram yesterday—hoping to share one photo a day—and this was the shot I used this morning. I was disappointed that I had to crop a lot of it out, in order to fit the required “square,” so I decided to share a wider version here. Waves are so cool. I was excited that I captured this one’s movement, before it crashed.
Anyway, I’ve been inspired lately, by so many of the photographer-bloggers out there. Every one of you makes me think (or see things) differently; sparking the old imagination and encouraging me to get out there and do it again. Thank you all for sharing, and for keeping me motivated.
