Yes, my glass is always half full (non-alcoholic beverages, of course). And, as my sponsor says… it is also refillable. 🙂
I’m experimenting with glass over images and this is my first test run. The trees were shot at the old zoo today, and in reading a tutorial last night I was led to Image*After, which is where I found the glass.
So far I’m sticking with the featured image idea and today my focus is on holding fast to my optimistic outlook. Every day I catch these little thoughts trying to creep in and stir up waves of discouragement, but I think last night I nailed down what the problem has been. Too much solitude.
I don’t want to call it isolation, because I’m enjoying it too much (is that wrong?!). But what I’ve noticed is that the more time I spend alone, even if I’m loving it, the more irritable I become. And the more irritable I get, the more the door opens up to negative thinking. It’s so weird how things like that really DO grow.
As a man thinketh… and all that stuff.
So I’ll be working on that. More fellowship = less negative thinking.
11 days and counting!
